What To Wear During The Grand Parades In San Diego

By James Wallace

Parades are a society get together events where units of people march along a scheduled route as spectators watch and cheer them on. They are normally planned for different kinds of reasons and occasions as deemed necessary. It could be a holiday, school event or a national celebration to mark a past achievement. They are usually popular events that are filled with people from all walks of life and basically end up being a melting pot. Though Parades in San Diego only last a short period of time, maybe just hours y, it requires a lot of planning to come up with a successful and spectacular event.

It is done by couples led by the wedding couples. While organizing a wedding march, it is wise to teach the couples the figures that are planned to use. The co- conspiratorial couples should be either placed directly behind the wedding couple or at the middle or at the very end of the line. If anyone is sitting without a couple, they can direct the traffic. The grand march is a traditional thing, which leads to a formal ball. All couples line up and come around the hall in various figures.

During the grand march, the bride's maid, the groom's men and anyone, who attend the grand march should bring some thing or wear a dress that represents the things or interests of the bride and the groom. For instance, if the bride is a nurse, the women who attend the grand march can wear a white dress and hang a stethoscope around the neck, and the men can wear scrubs. This dress can be worn over their dress or tuxes.

Set rates for entry fees. To help cover the operation expenses, many organizers charge a fee for marching units to participate in the event. An exception is granted for public schools and government groups.

Hold a competition. One way to encourage groups to enter a parade is to make it a competitive event. Towards the end, though not the very end, of the parade route, set up a viewing stand with seating for dignitaries, guests and a panel of judges. Award prizes, such as trophies, to the best marching band, drum major and float, respectively. A judged event may generate more participation, media attention, and public interest.

Decide what type of units to extend an invitation to. Floats, marching bands, and equestrian units are staples of parades. Other ideas for units include dancers, musical groups, beauty queens and clowns, and cyclists. A grand marshal is usually an honored guest who leads the parade. Use a car cover to prevent the vehicle the grand marshal is to ride in from getting dirty before the start of the parade. Further, make a list of the specific types of units you want to exclude from the event to avoid potential misunderstandings. A list of rules and regulations for the marching units to abide by should be provided to the marching units well in advance.

Finally, the fireworks are an essential element of any party on the 5th November. Remember to buy the most amazing fireworks so that the visitors get the fun during the celebration. It will not cost you an arm and a leg to have all that you need to prepare a magnificent party.

Ensuring that your marching shoes are waterproof is a big plus. Waterproof marching shoes will prevent water from entering the shoe through the seams and sole. Waterproof shoes will also last longer, since they can take the abuse of rain.
